Mami's Blouse WIP + Links to Tutorials

It's finally done.   Changed a lot huh? Don't mind Tenten's scroll that pops up or the skirt from my halloween costume. I loosely followed this tutorial for the blouse pattern, and SAVED my life for the sleeves. www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2fBuT… The only thing I did differently was the bottom of the sleeves I did a cuff at the bottom (a separate piece of fabric) Instead of elastic at the end. I felt it was more accurate. For the gold trim I took gold fabric folded it in half and sewed it on. Then I did the same for the other side and sewed in the zipper. I was hands down the WORST part of the costume. My first zipper broke after I had sewed it snuggly so ripping the seam SUCKED. And the zipper on now works SOMETIMES. So now I can only have the zipper go down so far so now it has to be zipped at all times.   The brown trim is just vinyl leather (pleather) which I attached with no sew adhesive tape because I got lazy. For the collar I had this stiff stuff (forgot what it's called I got it at Joann's) and inserted it into the collar after I got the fabric attached and in the shape I wanted. (A lot like my tenten cosplay) For the rectangles across the gold trim, I sewed them then attached them with snaps. I only did three because that's all anyone will see so why do the extra work?
